The QCD Theory Group at the Department of Physics, University of Jyväskylä (Finland), invites applications for a PhD student position starting in January 2026, for a duration of 3.5 years. The successful candidate will work on small-x physics and QCD in the high-energy limit, with potential links to other research topics within the group.
Applicants must also gain admission to the Doctoral School of the University of Jyväskylä. For information on the application process and language requirements, click here. The starting salary will be approximately €2,500 per month before taxes. A Master’s degree certificate must be submitted to the university by 15 December 2025.
